This was what I wrote on a small yellow post-it and stuck up on the wall in front of the space where I sat in the small Fintech startup I joined recently after moving to live in Brazil, back in early 2014.
It sat stuck safely there among other scribbled and posted memorable and practical quotes; most of which I don’t remember nor I have actively tried to put into practice with any relevant fervor in the last 6 years.
I’ve always been a big fan of ´inspirational quotes´ as, well, I find them inspirational. The only problem is I cannot seem to live them.
Leonardo da Vinci, Sherlock Holmes, Elon Musk.. sei lá, as we say here in Portuguese.
I once wrote a post about inspiration but looking back now it was mostly gobbledygook. I am not sure if I can recall much of what was my state of mind when I wrote that, but one thing remains clear — and that is I was thinking enough about inspiration even back then to make the effort to write a post about it.
